Marvellous Masks

Today we made masks for inquiry!

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!

As part of our Inquiry on Food, we have been cooking to develop understanding that raw products go through a process to change to create something new.  We have made cupcakes, had Mr Marshall showing us how bread is made.  We made jelly and Kevin from Gilbert Foods came in and showed us how to make ice cream and hokey pokey using liquid nitrogen.  We have all really enjoyed this inquiry - especially all the tasty food!

Maths, Maths, Maths

Look at the fantastic learning we have been doing in maths ...

Utah and Archie are learning to add numbers by counting on from the largest number.

Jesse is learning to write numbers to 10.

Riley is measuring using cubes.

Flynn and Harley are measuring.  

Anika and Arika are making patterns using the pegboards.

Magical Maths

In Room 2, we have been learning to have ownership over their own learning.  We have fun activities where we can choose our own activities that meet our learning goals.

Action in Action Stations

Every afternoon we do Action Stations with Room 4.  It is the favourite part of Room 2's day!  We have been learning "how do we choose a station" and "how do we clean up our stations".  Action Stations is fun and we get to make friends with all the wonderful children in Room 4.
